Law Enforcement Officers The Michigan Law Enforcment Officers Memorial Monument Fund was established in Michigan's Public Act 177 of 2004. The commission overseeing its development is seeking contributions to fund this project. They need our support now to help raise the funds needed to design and build this living memorial on the grounds of the historic Michigan Capitol Park. Donations and corporate sponsors are being sought to make this memorial a reality. Donations can be made online at www.michigan.gov, select the MI e-Store, then Tax Deductible Donations. All contributions are tax deductible. Please contact Vivian Grinnell with the Department of Management and Budget at 517-241-4493 with any questions. Commission members are: Kathy Cole, Lin Emmert, James Niewiek, Diane Philpot, James Salo, Thomas Furtaw - Department of Attorney General, and Richard Darling - Department of Treasury.
