Act 312 Arbitration Award Announced for MAP vs. Ingham County Sheriff It was a tough battle, but MAP stayed to the end with only a few items awarded for their members by Arbitrator C. Barry Ott. Wages were awarded totaling a 15% increase from 2003 through 2007, but only retroactively paid to February 2004. A shift premium was awarded for members working between the hours of 2:00 pm - 6:00 am. Grievance language was streamlined in favor of the membership. Fred Timpner, Troy Scott and Ron Palmquist fought long and hard throughout these proceedings and never gave up. Also awarded were increases in paramedic and K-9 pay.
